Based on the Cumbria / Lancashire border, life in our house is never dull. I've got two wonderful children, a husband, a family business to help run, two large (and somewhat neurotic) dogs, a handful of rather opinionated hens, two guinea pigs and a tortoise.

When I'm not lesson planning or wrangling animals (human or otherwise), you'll usually find me with my nose in a book or out on a long walk somewhere green and peaceful. I love the simple things - fresh air, a good story, the smell of books, and a good cup of tea.

My goal with this course is to push you beyond that Grade 4 or 5with tutoring that covers all the core skills regardless of which exam board you’re working with. I want you to feel confident walking into your exam.

With each online class capped at 6 students we can discuss and dissect the core skills while still identifying individual strengths and weaknesses. The lessons can be tweaked to suit the group as we work through the course.
